"Almost 20 years ago, I was very happy with the care my children received through the Community Programs Center. So when my mother was diagnosed with dementia and moved in with me, I immediately turned to Day Haven for their senior day program while I was at work.  She goes 5 days per week and the staff keeps her engaged and interested. She is making friends and looks forward to going.  I continue to believe that the care they provide is the highest level.  I can't say enough good things, to everyone, about how well Mom is doing in the program. Last week I attended an online Resource Sharing session held by the Center for Excellence in Alzheimer's Disease at Stony Brook, and found that Day Haven is the only Suffolk County social model day program on their list!"
