Program Assistant, Monday – Friday from 9:00-3:00

Responsibilities include supporting and assisting the Program Leader to ensure participant safety and ability to socialize and engage in activities. Assist with meal service and clean-up, participant ADLs (including toileting, ambulation and transferring as needed) and maintain general cleanliness of the program among other tasks. Previous experience with physically or mentally frail older adults preferred.

Program Assistant, Per Diem

Program Leader

Responsibilities include planning, leading and supervising a recreation program for physically frail participants and/or those with Alzheimer’s/related dementia. Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills including sound judgement; ability to direct staff; ability to provide “hands on” assistance to participants as needed. Develop and implement a monthly calendar of activities, ensure that participants have opportunities for input and choices into program activities, coordinate with Site Supervisor to ensure that the goals of maintaining function, overall safety, strength-based individualized programming, behavior management, and social/emotional support are maximized for all participants. 

Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
