Program Assistant, Per Diem

Responsibilities include supporting and assisting the Program Leader to ensure participant safety and ability to socialize and engage in activities. Assist with meal service and clean-up, participant ADLs (including toileting, ambulation and transferring as needed) and maintain general cleanliness of the program among other tasks. Previous experience with physically or mentally frail older adults preferred.

Afternoon Van Driver

Responsibilities include providing safe transportation for program participants from their homes to the program in a mini-bus, operating van lift, performing safety checks daily on van equipment and completing necessary documentation. Driver must be able to maneuver a wheelchair with an adult seated in it and be able to bend to secure and check wheelchair tie downs. Training will be provided. Seeking afternoon shift, 1:45 PM – 4:45 PM. Must have high school diploma or equivalent and a clean, valid regular NYS driver’s license. EOE.

Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 1:45 PM – 4:45 PM
