Mark Crean


M.M., Director of Day Haven and Program Development

Mark has worked in the human services field for over 30 years and has a wide range of experience providing residential, clinical, and support services for individuals with special needs. He was appointed Director of Day Haven in 2024. In this role he works to ensure Day Haven program staff have the resources and guidance they need to provide our seniors with a caring, engaging and meaningful program and to provide much needed support to family caregivers Mark has a Bachelor degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Master of Business Administration degree from Dowling College. Mark is a member of the Board of Directors for Long Island Select Healthcare (LISH), Inc. a leading provider of health services for the developmentally disabled and medically underserved population on Long Island.

Liz Fiordalisi


MS, Day Haven Assistant Director

Liz has enjoyed working with seniors since she was a teenager volunteering in an Activities Program in a Skilled Nursing Facility. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from Villanova University and her love for the senior population lead Liz to pursue her Master’s Degree in Gerontological Services Administration from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Her broad experience includes Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Senior Center and Social Adult Day Care settings. Recognizing the value of social model day programming, Liz strives to bring enrichment and fun into the lives of our participants.

Day Haven Ronkonkoma Site Supervisor

Alyssa has worked in the human services field for several years. Her broad experience includes supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and seniors in both community and residential settings, hospice care, socialization and recreation. Alyssa values the importance of person-centered care and understands the varying needs of each individual in our program. She utilizes her human service skills to support staff, participants, and families. Alyssa's desire to help families face the challenges of Alzheimer's disease stems from her personal experience of caring for her own grandmother who had dementia. 

Lynda Wexelbaum


Day Haven Port Jefferson Site Supervisor

Lynda’s journey began as a volunteer in the Day Haven Port Jefferson Art Program in 2018. Overtime, her creativity and helpful spirit propelled her into the Program Leader role where she enhanced the lives of participants daily through physical activities, cognitive programs, therapeutic art and socialization.  Lynda has a passion for supporting family caregivers and is a wealth of information and advice for Day Haven families. She facilitates a monthly Caregiver Support Group that is open to all community caregivers. Prior to joining Day Haven, Lynda worked in banking management and medical billing. Today, Lynda is the Site Supervisor of the Port Jefferson Day Haven location.
