Day Haven Honors Professionals in the Field of Aging
Day Haven Adult Day Services hosted its Neighborhood of Caring Breakfast on November 3, 2016 at Villa Lombardi’s, Holbrook, NY. The Neighborhood of Caring Breakfast, an annual event, honors individuals in our community who support quality of life for frail older adults, those with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia, and family caregivers of the elderly.
Four outstanding individuals and organizations were honored at the 2016 Neighborhood of Caring Breakfast:
• Suzanne Paolucci, LCSWGoidel Law Group
• Pilot Club of Patchogue
• Lynn Reddy, Catholic Charities
• Lisa Unander, The Long Island Museum
Lori Maldavir, Manager of Program Development and Government Relations at Day Haven, stated, “All of the individuals that we honored this morning are leaders in their respective fields. They go above and beyond their occupations to ensure quality of life for frail older adults and their family caregivers. Together with these genuinely good people, Day Haven continues to strive to do more to meet the needs of those we serve.”
